The Pelicans traded for a 1st Round Pick. The front office has decided it is time to make a move!

Joe Dumars and Troy Weaver have started their time as a front office with a major move that will reshape draft night. On Tuesday the Pelicans would trade a 2026 first round draft choice back to Indiana. The Pelicans will receive rights to Mojave King and the 23rd pick in next Wednesday's NBA Draft. Now with two first round picks will it be a sign that a trade up is happening or will the roster start to be reshaped with two rookies for the 2025-2026 season.
